The ingredient of Steak And Mustard Onion Rolls
- 2 tablespoons olive oil
- 1 medium brown onion sliced
- 2 teaspoons balsamic vinegar
- 1 tablespoon wholegrain mustard
- 250g piece beef eye fillet cut into 1 5cm thick steaks
- 2 bread rolls halved
- extra olive oil to brush bread
- 20g rocket ends trimmed
- 1 small tomato sliced
- salt ground black pepper to taste

- heat 1 tablespoon of the olive oil in a small frying pan over medium high heat add the onion and balsamic vinegar reduce heat to medium and cook for 10 minutes or until the onion is soft see microwave tip remove from the heat and stir in the mustard
- meanwhile preheat a chargrill barbecue or grill on high
- brush the beef steaks with the remaining olive oil and cook the steaks on the preheated chargrill or barbecue or under the grill for 1 minute each side for medium rare or until cooked to your liking set aside and keep warm for 5 minutes brush the bread roll halves with extra olive oil place the rocket on the bottom halves of the rolls top with the steaks followed by tomato slices and onion mixture season with salt and pepper cover with the top halves of the rolls and serve
